Microneedling
COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY

Achieve Glowing
skin
MICRONEEDLING for the skin helps to boost natural collagen production through the use of the mechanical stimulation and the topical hyaluronic acid application.

Each treatment is completed by our highly trained aesthetic team starting with a thorough cleanse for the skin to remove any imperities. Next a topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure the treatment is comfortable and well tolerated. Lastly, the magic happens with the micro needling. To boost your results, PRP can be chosen instead of hyaluronic acid for a collagen boost.

Microneedling Aftercare
Microneedling offers amazing benefits to getting and keeping your skin beautiful, but like any good skin procedure there are important aftercare instructions that you will need to follow to get the most out of your skincare treatment.
Since Eclipse microneedling creates micro wounds in the skin, patients cannot return to their normal skincare routines right away. In fact, immediately after your treatment, you will look as though you have a mild to moderate sunburn, and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. Keep in mind, these effects are normal and they typically subside within a few hours after treatment, but can take up to 24-48 hours for complete resolution.
Don’t worry: your skin professional will discuss post-procedure skincare following the treatment to help soothe, calm, and protect the skin. Continue to treat the skin gently for three days after microneedling, and you may resume your normal skincare routine after day three post-treatment.

After Care Recommendations

-
CLEAN – Use a gentle cleanser and tepid water to cleanse the face for 72 hours post-treatment, and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area, and do not u se powered cleansing brushes for at least one week after your treatment.
-
HEAL – We recommend serum antioxidants post-treatment, as its properties are ideal to help heal the skin by soothing and lessening irritation.
-
HYDRATE – Following your microneedling treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. Hyaluronic Acid is an ideal ingredient you can use to hydrate and restore the skin back to perfect balance.
-
STIMULATE – In the days following your microneedling treatment, and as the skin starts to regenerate, collagen-stimulating peptides are ideal to maximize the effects of the stimulation already started by the microneedling.
-
MAKEUP – We recommend you do not apply makeup for 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. In addition, do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if the brush is not clean.
-
PROTECT – Immediately after the procedure, your skin professional will apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 25 or greater sunscreen to your skin. We recommend a chemical-free sunscreen. Keep in mind that you should continue to use a sunscreen everyday—not only the days following your procedure—as part of your skincare routine to protect your skin from sun damage and premature aging.

Chemical Peels
Soften Fine Lines And Wrinkles

Reduce Signs OF Aging
Chemical Peels are one of the best treatments for you skin if you are looking to soften fine lines, reduce the appearance of scars, and give your skin a glow for the season.

By exfoliating your skin through a mild to moderate chemical peel, it allows the older damaged skin to be released and new refreshed skin to come to the surface. With the proper protocol, you can start to see the effects of aging turn back in time for your skin.

Post Chemical Peel Do's And Do Nots
1. Don't Pick Or Peel, Let Your Skin Do The Work
This seems straight forward but I understand the urge to pick at your flaking skin post chemical peel. This is part of the process and you don't want to expose the sensitive skin too quickly. Its temping but don't do it. If you are peeling, you can add a topical moisturizer to reduce the appearance of the dry skin.
If you pick at your skin after a chemical peel, it can lead to infections, breakouts, and scarring. Use a moisturizer instead and let the skin shed off naturally to avoid complications.

2. Don’t Be Tempted To Exfoliate
You're skin may look like it needs an exfoliation, but the chemical peel has already done that. The newly resurfaced skin is free of dirt, grime, oil and dead cells so this means you need to wait for 7 days before you exfoliate. Don't let that peeling skin tempt you into exfoliating early.

3. Avoid Aggravating Skin Care Products
The next 7 days after your chemical peel is all about caring for you skin in a gentle way. Stay away from active ingredients such as retinols and focus on moisturizers, gentle cleansers and sun screen.

4. Avoid Heat
Any treatment lead the sensitive skin, you will want to avoid heat sources such as hot tubs, saunas, sunshine, and work outs. Excess heat can make your skin feel more sensitive and could delay healing. Keep you skin cool for optimal post treatment comfort.

5. Be Patient
This is a big one. You may start to peel like a lizard or be more red than expected (depending on the strength of the chemical peel). This is all part of the process. Mild peels typically recover faster than more aggressive, but the results are not as good. Understand your downtime, discuss it prior to your treatment with your technician and be patient while your skin sheds its older cells and brings on the refreshed glow.
